Joanne Groundwell was born on March 28th 1972 in Sheffield. She was one of six children to the mother of Joan Cosgrove and the father Vincent Cosgrove.
After her education, Joanne met Paul, they loved eachother very much and they eventually had their first baby Jodie on the 7th January 1992. When Jodie was 4, Joanne and Paul decided it was time to tie the knot and in 1996 they did. They moved to Station Road in Sheffield then moved two years after to Thorpe Hesley in Sheffield.
In 1999 they had to make a life changing decision to Southampton, Paul had a promotion and they had just found out Joanne was pregnant so they needed the money. On the 14th January 2000, a bouncing baby boy was born named Liam. Liam was welcomed into the family with open arms as he was the first boy in the family.
Sadly in 2001 the marriage ended between Joanne and Paul and they divorced. Joanne became very depressed and needed help from her friends and family, so she moved in with her close sister Trish who supported her and looked after her in times of need until Joanne settled down in Spondon.
She loved Spondon, she felt independant and she had everything she wanted. Her family loved her, she loved her job and she had amazing friends. Until one day Joanne decided to take on a job, before she worked at ASDA in Spondon, where she was content, but she wanted a challange and something different. So she took on a job at Severn Trent Water as a receptionist, she found this too hard and she felt like a failure and returned back to ASDA, when she returned she felt like she had failed hwhat she needed to do, this lead to severe depression and Joanne was very upset with herself and one worry lead to another, things got continuously worse until Joanne took her on life in 2005, she will be sadly missed by all the friends and family and we all love her very much and one day I know we will meet again x x x x

I remember everything about you,
your voice, you smile, your touch,
the way you walked, the way you talked,
the way you looked at me, meant so much.

I remember all the words you said to me,
some funny, some kind, some wise,
all of the things you did for me,
I see now with different eyes.

I remember every moment we shared,
seems like only yesterday,
or maybe it was eons ago,
It's really hard to say.

You are gone from me now,
but one they can't take away,
your memory resides inside my heart,
and lights up my darkest days...
